Ceftin is used to treat sinus, skin, lung, urinary tract, ear, and throat infections. It may also be used to treat Lyme disease and gonorrhea. It works by fighting bacteria in your body.

Most common: Diarrhea/loose stools; nausea; vomiting; stomach pain.

Other: Headache; dizziness.
