Nix Cream Rinse is for external use only and should not be ingested. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, it should be rinsed out immediately with water.
When using Nix Cream Rinse, you first shampoo the hair and towel dry it. Then, you apply the Nix Cream Rinse to the hair, making sure to cover the entire scalp and hair shafts. The product is massaged into the hair and scalp and left on for a specified amount of time, typically around 10 minutes.
After the recommended time, the Nix Cream Rinse is rinsed off thoroughly with warm water. This process helps eliminate lice from the hair. However, it is important to note that Nix Cream Rinse may not kill the nits (lice eggs). The comb that comes with Nix Cream Rinse is used to remove the lice and nits from the hair.
Using the comb, you start at the scalp and comb through the hair, wiping the comb clean with a tissue or cloth after each pass. By combing through the hair, you can physically remove the lice and nits that may have survived the treatment. This combing process helps ensure a more thorough removal of lice and nits from the hair.
If live lice or nits are still present after the first application, a second application of Nix Cream Rinse should be applied on the 7th day or after, following the same steps as before.
