Durezol is applied to the affected eye(s) as directed by a healthcare professional, usually 4 times a day. Before applying the eye drops, wash your hands first. Tilt your head back, and using your index finger, gently pull the lower eyelid away from the eye to form a pouch. Hold the dropper directly over the eye and place one drop into the pouch. Close your eyes for a few minutes, and gently press your finger to the inside corner of your eye to prevent the medication from draining out.
Use Durezol as directed and follow the instructions provided by your healthcare professional. Do not use more or less of the medication than recommended, and do not use it more frequently than prescribed. If you experience any side effects or have any concerns about using Durezol, talk to your healthcare professional.
Durezol requires a prescription from a healthcare professional and is not available over the counter. It is important to only use medications that have been prescribed to you by a licensed healthcare professional.
