Do not chew Allegra 12hours tablet, swallowed whole with water and dissolve slowly in the stomach. Chewing the tablet can result in the release of too much medication at once, which can increase the risk of side effects.
Patients should avoid taking antacids containing aluminum and magnesium within 2 hours of taking Allegra, as they can reduce the effectiveness of the medication. The recommended dosage for adults and children 12 years and older is one 60 mg tablet with water every 12 hours, not exceeding two tablets in 24 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dosage to avoid serious side effects.
