Xopenex

Xopenex is used to treat the narrowing of airways caused by asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It works by relaxing the tightened muscles around your airway passages and relieves symptoms like coughing, sneezing, chest tightening, and shortness of breath to improve breathing.

This medication is not approved for use by children younger than 6 years of age. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur after consuming Xopenex.

Serious: An allergic reaction:difficulty breathing, closing of your throat, swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; hives; worsening of respiratory symptoms, chest pain or irregular heartbeats.

Other: Dizziness, tremor or nervousness, anxiety, headache, cough or runny nose, upset stomach, leg cramps.
