Tiger Balm is a topical pain relief ointment used to provide safe and effective pill-free relief for sore muscles, arthritis pain, joint pain, and general aches and pains. It works by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm. These feelings on the skin distract you from feeling the aches/pains deeper in your muscles, joints, and tendons.

Tiger Balm Regular is made from a blend of natural herbal ingredients including camphor, menthol, cajuput oil, and clove oil. These ingredients work together to provide temporary relief for aches and pains associated with muscle strains, sprains, and arthritis.

Tiger Balm should not be used on children younger than 12 years without a doctor’s advice. Check the label carefully before using it on children between 2 and 12 years old. Do not use it on children younger than 2 years.

Tiger Balm Regular is a topical medication intended solely for use on the skin. Avoid applying it near sensitive areas such as the eyes, mouth, nose, or genitals, and refrain from touching those areas while the medication remains on your hands. In the event of accidental contact, flush the affected area with plenty of water. Before inserting contact lenses, thoroughly wash your hands.

To alleviate discomfort caused by aches and pains, apply a thin layer of Tiger Balm Regular to the affected area no more than three to four times per day. Gently and thoroughly rub the medication into the skin. If using the medication to treat hands, no further hand washing is necessary; otherwise, thoroughly wash hands after use.

Tiger Balm Regular should not be applied to skin that is cut, scraped, or sunburned, and it should not be tightly wrapped or bandaged, as doing so may increase the risk of undesirable side effects. Loose clothing may be employed to protect the affected area. Do not use 1 hour prior to bathing or 30 minutes after bathing. For additional information, consult your pharmacist.

Heat can increase the risk of side effects. Do not apply the balm immediately before, during, or after activities that increase skin temperature (such as bathing in hot water, swimming, sunbathing, heavy exercise) or in hot/humid weather. Wait until your skin has cooled before applying the medication. Do not use a sunlamp/tanning bed, hot water bottle, or heating pad on the treated area.
