Polysporin Pain Relief cream is an over counter antibiotic medication used to prevent infection and treat minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.

The cream contains the active ingredients Bacitracin Zinc and Polymyxin B Sulfate. Bacitracin Zinc and Polymyxin B Sulfate work together to kill a wide range of bacteria that may cause infection. It should only be used as directed and should not be used for deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns.

Polysporin Pain Relief cream is for use on the skin only. Follow all directions on the product package or use as directed by your doctor. Avoid getting this product in your eyes or inside the mouth. If this occurs, wipe off the medication and rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use inside the nose unless directed by your doctor.

To use Polysporin plus Pain Relief Cream, first clean the affected area and make sure it is dry. Then, apply a small amount of the cream to the area and rub it gently until it is absorbed. You can apply the cream up to three times per day, or as directed by your healthcare provider or the label instructions. If you experience any adverse reactions or your symptoms do not improve after several days of using the cream, consult with your healthcare provider.

Use the cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a missed one. If you are not sure what to do after missing a dose, contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
