Biofreeze Gel is a topical analgesic used for the relief of minor aches and pains. The active ingredient in Biofreeze gel, menthol, is known as a counterirritant as it causes the skin to feel cool and then warm. Biofreeze gels are used to provide relief from itching and skin irritation caused by sunburn, insect bites, or minor scrapes.

Biofreeze Gel is easy to apply and has been trusted by physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and sports medicine practitioners to help treat a variety of ailments. It is an effective pain reliever that works by temporarily numbing sore muscles and joints, reducing inflammation, and aiding in the healing process.

Biofreeze comes in the form of a gel and can be applied directly to the affected area. Read the instructions on the label and follow the directions for proper use. Biofreeze Gel is for use on the skin only. Apply to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times a day. Use Biofreeze Gel as ordered by your doctor and read all the information given to you.

When using Biofreeze Gel, make sure to wash your hands before and after use and to clean and dry the affected area before applying. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected skin and rub itntly. Do not put gel on cuts, scrapes, damaged skin, open wounds, or irritated skin. Additionally, do not bandage the area tightly.

If you are utilizing Biofreeze gel on a regular basis and miss a dose, administer it as soon as you remember. If you are utilizing Biofreeze gel on an as-needed basis, do not use it more frequently than prescribed by your doctor.
